Bottle of Squealing Pig 2015 Central Otago Rose

Central Otago Pinot Noir Rosé 2015

Double Gold | CWSA 2016

This little beauty earned the nickname of "Brosé" when we launched it last year - and for good reason.

Blokes, now you can drink pink without feeling like a douc lady. We go for the man pink shade for our Rosé - and you'll be like a pig in mud happy to have this wine in your hand when you try it.

To start with, just a whiff is enough to make pigs fly delicate with fruity aromas of mandarin, spiced quince and peach blossom. A sip is so tasty it'll make your eyes water luscious yet supple with layers of stonefruit, watermelon and field strawberry.

Get amongst.

So you think you know Pinot Gris eh? Well then, you haven't tried our Pinot Gris yet - it's like nectar from the gods full and luscious with a lovely uplifting acidity. Plus, it won Double Gold, so it has some serious street cred.

This drop might taste sweeter than the ordinary old Pinot Gris others you've tried. That's because we wade through rivers, climb mountains and leap across fiords go down to Central Otago to hand harvest the ripest, most flavourful Pinot Gris grapes we can. Move over Marlborough, these grapes rock'n'roll are good.

Bottle of Squealing Pig Central Otago Pinot Noir

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014

Gold | CWSA 2016

We love a rich and juicy Pinot Noir bursting with smushed fruity goodness ripe cherry, plum and wild blackberry - which is what this Pinot is all about. These fruit flavours are framed by more deliciousness French oak spice and subtle toasty notes. You won't get furry teeth with this one, thanks to fine tannins and a silky texture flowing to a lingering finish.

The fruit for this wine was found in the middle of nowhere selected from cool, elevated sites in Central Otago, which gives it hairs on it's snout a fruity edge. We cold soaked the fruit for 3 days after picking to extract colour and flavour, inoculated with our yeast of choice, then hand-plunged up to 3 times daily (one for each pig).

We left the wine on skins for 20 days then matured it for 10 months to finish things off create an exceptional wine!
